Sunset and Sunrise Photos
Sunrises and sunsets are often dramatic in New Mexico, and a lot of photographers love taking photos of them. They’re an easy way produce oohs and ahhs.
I prefer to use sunrises and sunsets as elements in my photos instead of them being the main subject.
A giant sun at sunrise with a bird silhouetted in front or a slash of sunset color reflected on a cloud above a rural church intrigue me more than simply pretty sunset or sunrise colors.
When used in conjunction with another interesting subject, the photograph gains much more interest.
