Alt Fashion
In the mid 1970s I did a lot of assignments for Women's Wear Daily. I appreciated the beauty of a lot of the models and often enjoyed the fashion photography of the time. As I've changed as a photographer, I've tended more toward what I call Alt Fashion. These are simply fun shoots with a variety of models - but usually my daughter, Emma, and they are more goofing around than serious. In a number of images, the "fashion" worn, like the moth cape above photographed at the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History, was created by Emma.

I recently found this marvelous orange hat (above is a more sedate look from the shoot and below is a bit more intense) at a thrift store and immediately knew it had to be incorporated into the Alt Fashion genre. I looked further and found some orange gloves and some other accessories, such as the orange scarf and orange sunglasses, that I thought would compliment to look, whatever "look" meant in this case.

Accessories
When I add images to the Alt Fashion page, the accessories are often goggles, sunglasses or umbrellas, but occasionally other things that might add to the ambiance. Here are a few.
