Cloud Photos
I love clouds. There are so many different kinds of clouds and they add so much to a photograph. Obviously I’ve taken photographs with clear skies, but I’m really addicted to cloud-filled skies. I feel like they add some personality to a photo, be it stormy and moody, looming or festive.
They can be the main ingredient in a photo or a subtle accent, something like a photographic subtext, which adds to the visual story.
One of the reasons I love living in Northern New Mexico is the skies are so lively, and the clouds are abundant.
No matter how much of the frame they inhabit, I feel they are always a welcome addition.
