Angel in Albuquerque

Above is Angel doing flips on the corner of Central and Wyoming in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You see a lot of people of street corners these days with stories of woe and appeals for money. Angel isn't one of those. His sign read, "Smiling Could Lead To Real Joy." I was stopped at the light when I saw Angel entertaining passing motorists so I pulled into a nearby parking lot so I could talk with him. As we talked, he'd prepare himself for his backflip, lowering his arms and them swinging them backwards to propel himself up and over onto his feet again. Passersby honked and waved and Angel smiled and waved back.
