For the past few years I haven't had as many opportunities to create photo essays as I have in the past. The current New Mexico Press Association awards was an opportunity for me to enter a photo essay I did on Albuquerque, New Mexico, musician Mike Martinez and his use of a looper station in performances that reminded me of old time one-man bands.
