Luck in Photography vers 18
In vers 18 of my Luck in Photography series I am discussing a photograph I took while overlooking Torrey Pines beach near San Diego, Calif.
I had been visiting the overlook taking photos of hang-gliders. Previously thel area that I was in was a popular site to launch sail plaines/ gliders out over the ocean since there were lovely updrafts creaated by the cliffs.
Hang-gliders had taken over from sail planes over the years.
The sun was low over the Pacific Ocean and as I waited for a couple of gang-gliders to come near the cliffsl I notied this lone walkeer strolling on the beach below. What struck me was the sun illuminating the walker''s footsteps in the sand, highlighting them with cirles. The highlighted footsteps leads the viewer directly to the walker, which I thought very nice.
As with all the Luck in Photography images, I consider it lucky that I happened to be on the edge of the cliffs waiting for some hang-glideres when this walker just happened be be strolling by below.
