Luck in Photography vers 13

I pass by this stretch of the Rio Chama in Abiquiu, New Mexico, often. As I was passing by I noticed two elk standing by the side of the river. I pulled over and took out my camera thinking I'd wait and see what the two elk were up to. As I waited and watched, more and more elk emerged from the overgrowth that lines the river at this point. If I had simply stopped and took a photo of the two elk and then driven off, I never would have captured the large group that had, almost magically, arrived on the scene.
